Registration opens for Enlace EXPO PACK

Latin America’s most comprehensive online packaging and processing event will debut in June.

Free registration launched today for Enlace EXPO PACK (June 8-9, 2021), Latin America’s most comprehensive online packaging and processing event this year, with world-class educational content and a directory of solutions providers to support companies with their expansion, improvement and growth plans for 2021. Industry surveys from show producer PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, indicate that almost 60 percent of consumer packaged goods companies in the Latin American market plan to increase investments in packaging equipment in 2021.

“This is a critical time for the industry to explore new technologies and Enlace EXPO PACK will provide an easy way for the packaging and processing industry professionals to learn about the latest innovations to make informed investment decisions,” says Laura Thompson, PMMI vice president, trade shows. “Nothing can replace in-person events, but businesses need to keep moving forward. Our goal, through our webinar programs and the new Enlace EXPO PACK, is to continue to connect and educate the industry until the return of EXPO PACK Mexico to Mexico City next year.”

The online planner “Mi Agenda Enlace” will be every attendee’s first stop after registering, helping connect buyers with exhibitors in an organized fashion. Users can search exhibitors by product category, vertical market, keyword and more on the Enlace EXPO PACK platform. Product Presentations on Demand can also be found in the Mi Agenda Enlace, which will highlight the latest products from top suppliers. These time-efficient, 10-minute, pre-recorded product demonstrations will allow attendees to check out what’s new and connect with exhibitors to learn more about each product. All content will be presented in Spanish.
Attendees are encouraged to contact exhibitors to set appointments via the “Programar un Encuentro” button at the top of an exhibitor’s Online Showroom. Additional contact information for each exhibitor can be found under the “Contacto” section making it easy for attendees to connect and ask questions to address their specific project’s needs.

The event will kick-off each morning with Mundo de Expertos at 10 a.m. CDT. These 30-minute educational sessions, presented in conjunction with Mundo PMMI, will highlight Sustainability in Packaging on June 8 and the Digital Transformation and Paradigm Shifters in Packaging and Processing on June 9.
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Innovation Stage will include exhibitor-led presentations on product breakthroughs and trends in sustainability, e-commerce, automation and more. Presentations will be in Spanish, and presenters will be available during their scheduled sessions for live chat Q&A. Video links will be available for future viewing on demand.

Leading up to EXPO PACK Enlace, PMMI is committed to keeping the industry informed, continuing its Mundo PMMI webinars in May and June. On April 14, the General Director of the Mexican Institute of Packaging Professionals (IMPEE) will discuss reducing materials costs and optimizing packaging systems. The last webinar of the series on May 19 will present the always popular annual analysis of packaging machinery trends and forecasts in Mexico by Luis Domenech, executive director and partner of the consulting group Market Intelligence Latin America Mila.
